Objective
The certificate course aims at sensitizing the need and generating knowledge and skill on various organic farming practices, so as to equip the learners carrying out organic agricultural production and management.

The course aims to develop a basic understanding of the principles of plant propagation, an overview of propagation techniques, a general knowledge of the methods of propagation of the more commonly cultivated plants and the basic knowledge on entrepreneurial skills required to run a small scal commercial nursery.
3. Post Harvest Management & Marketing of Fruits & Vegetables
This course is intended to impart knowledge on post harvest management of fruits and vegetables, methods of processing and preservation, value added products and basics of establishing a small scale processing unit. It also deals with the workforce requirements of the food processing industries.
